Description:

The beginning of a chess game. Still needs lots of work, but I thought it was a cool example of drag n' drop. Try dragging the queen piece around the board... then look at the single line of Speak script for the button that is need to pull this off :)

Very interested to see what this stack becomes. Have not used hypercard in a while, so very excited about the renewed interest.

Chess with only one piece - a much faster game.

This is cool - I can''t wait for the full game :)

One thing though drag and drop doest seem to work well on the iPhone (at least the 1.x version). Something to keep in mind. A click to select an then a click on where to drop might work though - or hopefully iPhone v2.0

very nice, too bad nothing has been done so long, might use this 1 line instead of my two line solution although I don't know if that one line savings is worth it ^.^

Do you mind me copying this and maybe developing it more? :)

Not at all... That's an important concept with TileStack... you publish your creations so others can learn from them and take your ideas further. Of course, there are some cases where it might be nice to restrict copying rights... but we'll deal with that down the road. For now, copy, copy, copy!
