Ever since TileStack was first released, it has tried to emulate the look and feel of HyperCard. This has been great and given everyone involved a great dose of nostalgia. But, if we're going to truly evolve HyperCard into something that's relevant and useable in our current day and age, we figured we needed to give our good 'ol buttons and fields a new look and feel that better fits with the today's common user interface patterns. Also, we'd like to give TileStack users a way to "theme" their stacks for specific platforms (The web, mobile, and even things like Facebook). Embedded below is a video showing the beginnings of the new default theme.

Now, once all is said and done, you won't actually be able to switch the theme of a stack, but for testing purposes we've got that ability during our development process. Here's a short video giving you a very early look at a stack in the current, HyperCard-esque theme, then switching to what will eventually be our new default, TileStack theme.

In addition to this standard theme, we'll also be simultaneously releasing themes in the style of Facebook.com and the iPhone OS. (With themes for other major mobile platforms following soon there-after).

P.S. - Don't worry, the HyperCard theme isn't going anywhere, we will however be polishing the edges, (hopefully) making it even more authentic and keeping a "HyperCard Template" in our template section.
